Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Dukans, the publisher of the Dukans app for Android. By installing or using Dukans you accept them. If you do not agree with something here, the honest advice is not to use the app.

What Dukans is

Dukans generates AI images that preview how a garment might look on a person, based on photos you provide. It is a visualization tool, not a measuring tape. Results are approximations: real fit, fabric behavior, color and stitching can differ from what the AI shows. Purchase decisions you make based on a generated image are your own.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to hold a Google account in your country. You are responsible for the device and the Google account you use with the app.

Your content and your responsibility

When you add photos to Dukans, you promise that:

• you own them or have permission to use them,
• any person shown in them has agreed to appear in a try on,
• you will not use the app to create images that are unlawful, deceptive, harassing, sexually explicit or intended to impersonate someone.

Photos you add and images you generate remain yours. We claim no ownership of your content. Because your content is stored on your device rather than with us, you are also the one in charge of backing it up.

Google services

Try ons are generated by Google AI services that you access with your own Google account through the app. Your use of those services is additionally governed by Google's own terms and policies, and you are responsible for complying with them. Google may change, limit or discontinue its services at any time, which can affect generation quality, speed or availability. Dukans does not control that and does not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Fair use

Generation capacity is a shared resource. The app applies reasonable limits, such as a cap on rapid camera captures, to keep things working for everyone. Attempting to abuse, overload, reverse engineer or automate the app outside of normal use is not allowed.

Intellectual property

The Dukans app, its design, branding and code are the property of Dukans and its licensors. These terms give you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable license to use the app on your Android devices. They do not give you the right to copy, resell or redistribute the app itself.

No warranty

Dukans is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, that the app will be free of errors, or that it will always be available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Dukans is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost data, unsatisfying purchases, or the reaction of your group chat to a generated outfit. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app, which is zero.

Termination

You can stop using Dukans at any time by uninstalling it, which also removes the data it stored on your device. We may stop offering the app or restrict its use if these terms are violated or if the services it depends on become unavailable.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
